Guarantee terms

Summary

First page of Google, Maps and ChatGPT in 90 days, on the keywords and prompts we agree in writing. If any agreed keyword or prompt is not on the first page at day 90, Pulse Media Agency keeps working on it at no charge, with no monthly fee, until every one of them is.

These terms explain exactly what that means, so there is nothing to argue about at day 90. They form part of our terms and conditions and apply alongside your written agreement. If your agreement says something different, the agreement wins.

Who the guarantee applies to

The guarantee applies to clients on an SEO and AEO engagement whose written agreement includes it. It does not apply to website builds, hosting, or software and automation work bought on their own.

What is guaranteed

Within 90 days of the start date, your business will appear on the first page for each keyword and prompt listed in your agreement, on the platform listed against it: Google Search, Google Maps or ChatGPT.

What counts as the first page

  • Google Search. Your website appears in the organic results on the first page for the keyword. Paid ads do not count.
  • Google Maps. Your Google Business Profile appears in the map results shown on the first page of Google for the keyword.
  • ChatGPT. Your business is named in the answer to the prompt.

Agreed keywords and prompts

We choose the keywords and AI prompts together, on the audit call and during onboarding, and list them in your agreement before work starts. They describe services you actually offer, in the area you actually serve. Only the listed keywords and prompts are measured, and the list can only change if we both agree in writing.

How results are tested

At day 90 we test every listed keyword and prompt in a fresh browser session with no search history, no signed in account and no personalisation, so the result reflects what a new customer would see rather than what your own browser has learned about you. We share the results with you.

When the clock starts and pauses

The 90 days start on the day onboarding is complete: you have given us the account access we asked for and signed off the list of keywords and prompts. We confirm that date to you in writing.

After that, the clock pauses while work is held up by delays on your side, including:

  • access to your website, Google Business Profile, Search Console or other accounts
  • approvals of pages, posts or changes we have sent you
  • content, photos or information we have asked you for

The deadline moves back by however long the work was held up.

Minimum term

SEO and AEO engagements have a minimum term of three months. The guarantee needs the full 90 days of work behind it, so the engagement has to run at least that long.

If the guarantee is not met

If any agreed keyword or prompt is not on the first page at day 90, Pulse Media Agency keeps working on it at no charge, with no monthly fee, until every one of them is.

During that period you are not invoiced the monthly fee, the work continues on the keywords and prompts that are not yet on the first page, and we retest them the same way until each one is. Keywords and prompts that reached the first page stay in the engagement and are not counted against the guarantee again.

What the guarantee does not cover

The guarantee does not apply where:

  • the business changes its website, profile or listings in a way that affects the listed results without telling us
  • a Google Business Profile is suspended or restricted because of information or activity outside our work
  • the engagement is paused, cancelled or unpaid before day 90
